I, Jae Rhee, got to interview an old friend of mine that went to Singapore to study through MSN (Microsoft Messenger). His name is Ye Chan Lee and is currently 17 years old.
Jae – Hey Ye Chan! Can I interview you? It’s for a school project in World Geography class.
Ye Chan – Yes, sure. But I don’t know much about Singapore because I stay at my house most of the time or go play soccer with my friends.
Jae- Oh well, then I will try to avoid questions about Singapore. Why did you mover there? And who do you live with?
Ye Chan – I did not have much of a choice when our family moved to Singapore. I wanted to stayin Korea but my father had business problems. I live with my whole family, my mother, father, and my younger brother.
Jae- How is the public transportation in Singapore, is it better than Korea’s?
Ye Chan – I don’t know either one because I left Korea when I was in 3rd grade and I have never uses the public transportation here. But I hear it’s not that bad.
Jae- Then if you had a choice to come back to Korea would you come back now?
Ye Chan – Yeah! Of course, I’m visiting Korea this winter vacation but I don’t think I can see you, I’m staying at my grandmother’s house.
Jae- You probably can, everything is connected in Korea with trains and buses. So why do you want to leave Singapore, anything specific?
Ye Chan – No, I just like Korea.
Jae- Really? If you could compare your school in Singapore and to KIS which one is better?
Ye Chan – I think KIS is better because I have a lot people I know there and it is in Korea!
Jae- There are only about 10 people you know now. But can you tell me about the weather a little bit?
Ye Chan – IT IS HOT AND HUMID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jae- Hahahaha, it is getting cold in Korea but anything else about the weather?
Ye Chan – That’s all. Dude I have to go. See you later.
